The E&EC staff also includes a recipient of the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award of the World Pollution Control Association as well as several other industry awards.

E&EC GmbH was founded in 1999 by partners, who each have over 30 years experience in all varieties of consultancy for air pollution control multi-disciplinary engineering and construction projects. Our staff has gathered expertise in all project phases in Asia, Europe, and North and South America.

E&EC GmbH was founded as a sister company of E&EC bv in the Netherlands to expand activities into Asia, North America, and other parts of Western Europe, but is independently owned and operated from E&EC bv.

E&EC provides its national and international clients with tailored, economical and above all practical designs for most air pollution control retrofit needs in the power utility, waste-to-energy, biomass, chemical, cement and steel industries.

Our services focus among others:

  • consulting services and engineering assistance for:
    • waste-to-energy technologies,
    • NOx control technologies,
    • SO2 control technologies,
    • mercury control technologies,
    • PCDD/PCDF abatement and control technologies,
  • engineering assistance regarding the assessment and remedial action for POPs control,

Through non-committal cooperation agreements with several major engineering and consultancy companies, we can organize the provision of specialized know-how such as emission measurements, material analyses (fuel, catalyst, ash, gypsum, wastewater, etc.) and environmental impact assessments. Similarly, we can extend our services with multi-disciplinary basic and detailed engineering and construction services if so desired by the customer.

Also, we are affiliated or have exclusive cooperation agreements with consulting-engineering companies in Europe and the USA. These companies are active in similar fields as E&EC and possess specific complimentary know-how and/or products, which provide an optimal synergy with our range of consultancy activities.

Furthermore, our partner company E&EC bv in The Netherlands is coordinator of WasteNet, a joint-venture company of five Dutch firms, who are active in the design, construction and operation of a wide variety of waste processing and disposal plants. Their specialization fully complements each other, making it possible to offer a comprehensive package for total project realization, or for only those specific elements that are requested.

The objective of WasteNet is to exchange and utilize the combined hands-on expertise and make it available to international clients. This knowledge was compiled during the past twenty five years, in which The Netherlands fully reorganized its waste disposal system and implemented the world’s most stringent regulations regarding recycling, treatment and emission limits.
